Post-Trek Beers and Hugs at TWB

With our first Waterloo Region Crossing event behind us, we gathered together last week to thank our supporters, donors, media, friends, and family for their contributions and efforts that helped make WRX a success. Together We're Bitter Brew Co-operative graciously hosted the festivities, and we were able to present the WRX fundraiser money to Joe and Stephanie Mancini from The Working Centre.

Knowing that our collective efforts will help feed hundreds of homeless residents in our community and seeing how this event brought people together has given us the drive to grow WRX in coming years. We will be meeting with key players over the coming weeks to discuss potential resources and grants/funding opportunities to help us grow Waterloo Region Crossing into a much larger annual event.
