24 hours, 78 kilometres, 1 region
On February 10 at 7am, Livescape staff Ashley, Tessa, and Dave will begin a trek across Waterloo Region in recognition of those who travel on foot in all weather conditions to access community services. The purpose behind the event is to raise funds in support of The Working Centre. We will start in Cambridge and finish 78 kms and 24 hours later in West Montrose.
While the team has been focusing on logistics, planning, and training, a momentum of community support has been building behind this event. The Waterloo Region Record was kind enough to put us on the front of the local section on Saturday morning, adding some extra oomph to our efforts.

Later today, Tessa will be on The Mike Farwell Show on 570 to further discuss our motivations for the trek and some of the anticipated challenges we may face on our journey.
Stay tuned for more updates as our event takes shape, and please consider donating to The Working Centre. They provide a range of essential services to support our most vulnerable neighbours, enhancing the quality of life for so many people.
